Smooth, Energetic, Confident.
If you are looking for a talented, natural read that you can count on to deliver for you right out of the gate, you want Kathy Alvarez-Kingman. Kathy loves storytelling so if you are ever looking for her, you are likely to find her behind a microphone. She draws on a background that includes work as a professional folk singer, improv performer, and theatre to shape her performances. With an impressive range in voice print, she can be your mom, your sister or your evil stepmother all in the same sitting!
Kathy has trained with respected experts in the voiceover acting field. Her training began at Voice One in San Francisco, with advanced training from Real voices LA and The Voice actors studio. She is a native Southern Californian who now lives in Marin California with her two young teens and her husband who are also talented voicers who work from the same home studio.
On a personal note: Kathy loves all her voiceover projects, but is especially interested in telling the stories of Biracial, Hispanic and LQBTQ individuals to match with her own personal experiences and to represent a demographic that is dear to her.
